Abstract Submission

The authors must submit abstracts (for oral communications or posters) for the  Educa&Care International Seminar: Educating Professionals to Enhance the Quality of Informal Caregiving, until September 15, 2017 at 11:59PM, by dep-educacare.seminar@ua.pt email, with the subject AbstractE&CSeminar and using the Educa&Care Seminar abstract template. The author must be registered in the seminar before abstract submission.

Regulation

1 – Proposals for submission of papers (in oral or poster format) should reflect original works, not presented in other contexts.
2 – The abstract to be submitted should fit into one of the three Topics of Interest of the Seminar.
3 – Abstracts can be submited in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
4 – The abstract text may not be longer than a maximum of 350 words.
5 – The abstract should be presented according to the template provided.
6 – The submission of the abstract should indicate the Topic of Interest in which the work is inserted.
7 – With the submission of the abstract should be indicated if it is proposed for communication or poster.
8 – The authors of the oral or poster communications will be informed of their acceptance, by e-mail, by September 22, 2017.
9 – The speaker author who will present the communication must be enrolled in the Seminar, so, for this purpose, it must regularize the registration by September 15, 2017 through the online application form, available at:
10 – Oral presentations should have no more than 15 minutes and posters should have no more than 5 minutes.
11 – Abstract evaluation will be Scientific Comitte responsability.
12 – Accepted abstracts will be published in the Seminar Proceeding Book (with ISBN).
13 – A certificate will be delivered to each speaker.
